thevina33@gmail.com BioI'm a 39 year old fanfiction writer and independent scholar. The wonderful world of fandom brought me here; I write and read Tolkien and Harry Potter fanfiction, and spent most of 2008 totally entranced by Storm Constantine's Wraeththu series. 2008 also saw me privileged enough to move cross country (from east to west coast in the U.S.) as well as revisit England and meet with Storm in person!! I was very involved in Tolkien fandom (including costuming) from 2002-04. 2004-2007 saw me spending most of my time in HP fandom, though I didn't completely neglect my Tolkien roots. I have a thing for redheads, including all of the Weasleys, though Ron and George in particular. I write slash (and the occasional genfic), and my favorite pairings have been/are: George/Remus ("Cartography of Fire" universe), Ron/Draco (especially in my "Magic Immunity" universe), and Ron/Harry. In 2007 I wrote some Dean/Ron, and Seamus-centric fics, as well as a few threesomes.
Many entries in this journal that aren't posted fics are now friends-locked as I do intersperse RL and fandom information about myself; if you know me or want to get to know me and aren't on my flist, send me an email. Welcome to the haven!
In case you wonder… I'm known in both fandoms as Thevina, or in Tolkien fandom, sometimes as Thevina Finduilas. Thevina was already taken here in LJ-land, so I picked Thrihyrne, a three-mountain range in Rohan, and also the name of my website. Thrihyrne [self-pronounced as "thrih-hear-nuh"] and Thevina also have a delicious parallel alliterative thing going on. Though I do love the Rohirrim, and wrote about them a lot when first in Tolkien fandom, Gimli and the Dwarves definitely have my heart. Merry and Pippin, too, even though I've not written much in the Ardaverse of late.
